Before and After

Some people really should undergo plastic surgery. Check out how much better some of them look after the operation. MUCH BETTER! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not that superficial and I don’t judge people by their looks, but looking good makes people feel good and then they are more energetic, they think more positively and it gives them a better quality of life. What is your opinion about the plastic surgery? Would you ever have any of work done on your own body? Feel free to comment.

some of these “chicks” are really dudes, right?

  • GoMoJo

Looks like they just put on make-up.

  • Rob

This just goes to show you. Before you get married, make sure you see your future wife without her make-up on. It may completely change your mind (if you are that shallow).

Where from had these dudes got money for the operation? Assuming that the images were taken from romanian tv program, probably they were operated in romanian secret plastic surgery labs.

    • Cossy

      Hello!
      All these photos are real!
There is no secret lab, actually it’s a TV show on a Romanian channel [PRO TV] called: “Beauty on a knife-edge”.
All those persons in the photos are actually women and most of them are just women who lived a hard life, maybe in the country side, maybe in poverty or just had traumatizing experiences. This show is about giving them a second chance in life…

      That’s all about it!

      (…in my opinion.. the make-up artist it is exaggerating a little..to much… :P )

  • http://www.luckychinatown.com mieketsai

some are better, but some worse!

  • http://www.top20lists.com Top Twenty Lists

Not impressed…even after the surgery most of them look weird.

  • elena

haha it’s no secret lab, actually it’s a tv show on a top watched channel.
All the people in the photos are actually women and most of them are just women who lived a hard life, maybe in the country side, maybe in poverty or just had traumatising experiences.

and these pictures are not that clear anyway, on tv you could really see improvement on their faces and bodies.

PS: that make up ,,artist” should be fired

  • bonbon

Some of these women already look pretty to begin with. Some of them look like they just put on heavy make up and wigs.

In my perspective, they were just made to look like how they should look like if they could afford to focus on taking care of their looks, going to the gym/dentist, getting the right haircut. All you need is to take good care of yourself to begin with, and you won’t need plastic surgery.

    • pak31

Perfectly said!!!! I agree with you 100%.

  • LeTigre

Most of these women are very unfortunate looking, maybe slightly less unfortunate looking in the ‘after’ pics. Some of them don’t look like they had any work done at all, just hair makeup and a smile. The last girl’s pretty though.

  • http://vampiredaze.com Vampire Daze

The last girl was so much prettier in her before photo without all of the makup plastered on. Also, a few of these weren’t really cosmetic surgery but reconstructive…as with the lady with the mastectomy.

  • Toomra

Most of them just look like they have had hair, make up and dental work done rather than cosmetic surgery.

  • Vivian Li

Hm, isn’t it quite sexist how there are no men in this list? Why is the focus on physical appearance always directed at women, while men get to evade scrutiny?
Society still views women as objects to be judged and valued by their sexual attractiveness, while the same standard does not hold for men.

Also, the poses, lighting, background colour, camera angle, and facial expressions in the before and after pictures differ dramatically. This is obviously an intentional sleight-of-hand. I would bet if all these things remained constant in both before and after pictures, there wouldn’t appear to be much of a difference between them.

    • Ben

vivians comment is representative of the common misguided opinions, especially found among feminist women who have little to no understanding of the dynamics and social standing of men in society, and expect the term equality to mean that both sexes would have equal standing, which is simply absurd.
it is in no way sexist, when you consider that its far more socially and culturally acceptable for women to get plastic surgery than men. the same goes for make up. odds are they didnt have any men because there were none interested in or willing to participate. for some reason you think this is a factor that favours the male gender, suggesting we are happier with our natural looks and arent judged the same way. that however, is bullshit. “men get to evade scrutiny”? eh? the women here chose to be put on the show, they werent forced to do anything.
the same standards do hold for men, but in a completely different way. because – and this may shock you but wait for it…- they are men…! i know right. amazing that males have different features that are desired from them than women.
men are constantly judged for their appearance, only usually it is in the reverse. but you wouldnt know this because youre a woman, but this apparently gives you free reign to make claims about something with which you have no experience or knowledge. good for you.

      • holly

since breast augmentation is the most prevalent cosmetic surgery for women, of course cosmetic surgery is more common and “accepted” for females
men are pressured to look a certain way, yes, but not to the same degree as women
it is estimated that 8 million Americans have an eating disorder – seven million women and one million men
please talk to your daughters about body image, and how the media does not always portray women realistically
fat women, skinny women, women of colour, all deserve to be loved and treated with respect

      • patty

I completely agree with you, and no need to say that I’m a girl. Everyone has the same pressures to look a certain way.. whether you’re a man or a woman, big or small, it doesn’t matter. It makes me angry when people think that they’re entitled to sympathy because the tv is telling them they deserve it.

    • joeGreen

You’re so full of ****, of course men and women are treated differently in some aspects -we’re f’n DIFFERENT!

  • Katia

I’m not even focusing on the looks. I think one of these women had breast cancer and had her right breast removed. That really saddens me, how much she has suffered. Hopefully she felt more confident after getting a slight makeover. ): God bless her. ♥

  • sweetvyc

alot of these women look like they are products of imbreeding to be honest…. & i agree that the makeup artist should be fired!!!

the lady with the masectomy… i hope she is smiling because they fixed her breast because to me it just looks like they just covered her up in a big dress.

  • http://crunchpost.com Kaleem Akhter

There are some images I like the old, i mean before images are better, like 15 and 20but other are definitely need after. lolzzz.

  • Nichole

    you can’t save them all.
    LMFAO

  • JannaS

I’d like to see the person with or without makeup on both pics. now that the ‘before’ pic is without any makeup and the hair not done in anyway you can’t really get the real picture of their change.

I’d actually prefer to see pics before makeup and hair doing and after makeup and hairdo. And maybe then decide is any plastic surgery needed… If it’s ever needed…

  • Yo Dude

It’s Julia Gillard on pic No.10, right?

  • Becca

When’s the Before & After For men coming up?

  • Tamara

Wow! A lot of A..holes commenting here!? I think the ladies love LOVELY, and I pray none of them read these comments. Talk about a slap down, after all the work and pain they went through just to conform to your dumbass ideas of what is pretty enough to be seen with your ugly faces (most of you, be honest). I applaud them all for improving their appearance for their own self esteem and for getting hired by you. I pray none of them end up dating or married to the likes of you.

  • hezzz

where are half these people from?
i think this is a good example that plastic surgery doesn’t always make you hot.

  • Lana

Wow…this is kind of depressing. A lot of those women looked beautiful and natural before…and now they look like a piece of plastic. Half of them don’t look like real people. Such a shame to see that people can’t love themselves for who they are…

  • tiff

I can tell the numerous nose jobs and teeth jobs but the real improvement was simply caking on layers of makeup. If you want to call that an improvement.

  • tiff

I can understand having work done to help a severe defect in your smile or nose… My comment was really regarding all that un-necessary clown makeup so many of them are wearing. Less is more.

  • lolcat

most of the after pictures look like men in drag. FAIL

  • aoix0214

I feel that the most important thing is that they’ve gained back their confidence. :)

  • http://dibbsolutions.com Medisoft

I hope most of these are really “after and before”

  • Dabria

    Wow.
The before pictures are obviously going to look worse when they don’t have any make-up on and the contrast isn’t high to cover up wrinkles and blemishes.
Some of the women, it really did help them, some of them especially in the teeth/mouth area. But a lot of them still look odd when it’s over.

  • db

I THINK ILL HAVE NIGHTMARES AFTER SEEING THIS

  • Darly

I am sorry girls, but I must agree with Ben. All of us are judged by the way we look. Of course, the majority of it is directed towards women because historically speaking, we’ve always been the object of desire of men. However, today men have a bit of a load to carry on their shoulders as well.I don’t know if it’s because you lack confidence in youselves or if it’s just pure retaliation, but a man who’s not well-groomed or does not have a good self-esteem will not attract me.

I don’t know if I’m what I’m trying to say gets through, but all I’m trying to say is: if you don’t love yourself, then nobody else will love you. Love yourself, the way you are, no matter how many flaws you have, because NOBODY’s perfect. The guy’s not interested? NEXT! You know what you are worth. Why should you get THAT much insulted when you hear that girl had a surgery and she feels better?

The pictures I saw, it’s like a circus. Some of them didn’t need even surgery, they just needed a wardrobe and make-up makeover. The woman with the mastectomy, especially her, she really just needed a makeover. No surgery needed (except for her breast).

All of that being said, it seems to me like it was kind of a circus. I do not wear make-up, and it may be a bias, but when they display the pictures of them “after”, it’s like a circus. Too much make-up.

So now, you can disagree with me, because, as I said earlier, I like good looking men and I do not believe that I am such a gorgeous woman; what I believe however, is that… I believe that but it’s just so true… self -confidence is the SEXIEST thing you can ever find… or have. No matter who or what you are, if you’re self-confident, all of a sudden, you will not feel like the whooole world is against you anymore…! It takes time because it was my journey, so I’m just letting you know so that you can take advantage of it… Just find reasons to love YOU… and you’ll get it.

… and then, when you see stuff like that happenning, you’ll go: ah well, they didn’t love themselves enough :( ….

  • http://www.pokersentials.com/ Oliver Mack

Many surgerys they got on them, but as you can see some details can´t be taken out that easily. People are not perfect, just take care of yourself by the time you have to.

  • mmm

….are you kidding me!??? They STILL all need serious work done!!!

  • Christine B

any woman can look attractive with the right amount of TLC and a make up, hairdo and dental work.
Very few women are truly ugly.

However, there is more to beauty than just make up and a stylist— there is happiness that comes from within and radiates out, and makes a person truly beautiful! None of these women show that, and that ‘s why, despite the expensive makeover, they still look strange! Too much has gone wrong in their lives to be corrected by a layer of make up.

  • Molly

That redheaded chick used to look like Sean Penn. Although, her freaky cheeks aren’t all that great, she definitely looks less Pennish with the silicone and whatnot.

Woooo! Don’t miss this!
