Cute little monsters

Posted in Life by sanela | Tags: animals, insects, macro, microscope, nature, photos

This is what insects look like under microscope! They look like aliens, monsters and creatures from science fiction movies. I always thought that those people that designed and created aliens and monsters in movies are really geniuses, but it turns out they actually have pretty good microscopes. I don’t know if it’s just me or do you find them in some weird and twisted way cute too? Also, I expected the Dog flea to look like a little redneck and to sing “Food on the corner”, but it didn’t pan out. :)

Once upon a time in Afghanistan

Posted in Life by sanela | Tags: Afghanistan, hope, images, past, society

On a recent trip to Afghanistan, British Defense Secretary Liam Fox drew fire for calling it “a broken 13th-century country.” The most common objection was not that he was wrong, but that he was overly blunt. He’s hardly the first Westerner to label Afghanistan as medieval. Former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince recently described the country as inhabited by “barbarians” with “a 1200 A.D. mentality.” Many assume that’s all Afghanistan has ever been — an ungovernable land where chaos is carved into the hills. Given the images people see on TV and the headlines written about Afghanistan over the past three decades of war, many conclude the country never made it out of the Middle Ages.

Before and After

Posted in Life by sanela | Tags: after, before, better, operation, people, surgery

Some people really should undergo plastic surgery. Check out how much better some of them look after the operation. MUCH BETTER! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not that superficial and I don’t judge people by their looks, but looking good makes people feel good and then they are more energetic, they think more positively and it gives them a better quality of life. What is your opinion about the plastic surgery? Would you ever have any of work done on your own body? Feel free to comment.

The actions of 30-year Norwegian Eskil Ronningsbakken may shock, admire, horrify or command respect. The best stunt men and daredevils of the world probably wouldn’t dare to what he’s doing on the edge of high cliffs. He probably proved that he has a great balance and can do amazing hand stands, so he decided to make it a bit more exciting by balancing on the edge of a cliff. Really unbelievable!

The history of swimwear

From the moment swimwear appeared for the first time it was always the symbol of sex appeal and now there is practically no beauty pageant without a bikini category.
