Nothing is more precious then spending quality time with your son. Here’s how one guy decided to make this quality time even better. He took three different car models and combined them all into one car for him and his son to ride. The boy although still at a very young age helped his father in this project. The result seems amazing and it looks like they had a pretty good time.

City made out of jelly

The author of this delicious master piece, Liz Hickok really loves jelly! Just have a look at these images below and you’ll see that she made an entire city of San Francisco out of jelly. You must be impressed by the myriad of colors and the pain that she must have gone into during the creation of this huge project. She has made a lot of effort to make sure that every detail is taken care of and to see that all the important landmarks are made visible. You will see that she has not even missed on the details on the flag in one of the pictures.

Dynamic photos of surfers in Australia

Surfing is a surface water sport where a person (the surfer) moves along the face of a breaking ocean wave (the surf). Surfing also takes place on rivers, riding a standing wave. Australian photographer Mark Tippl took these great and breathtaking underwater pictures of people surfing and snorkeling. Photographer probably got tired of the usual surfer photos taken from above the water and he decided to add some dynamics to his work by photographing the waves at the Australian coast from a new angle – beneath the surface of the water. I have to admit it looks really great and I wish I could dive into this water while watching the photos.

Claudine Doury is a French artist and photographer born in Blois, headquartered in Paris. She received the Leica Oscar Barnack in 1999, the World Press and the price Paris Match in 2000 for her series “Peoples of Siberia”. By 2004, she received the award Yan planet EARTH Niepce and the price for her whole work. Her first monograph, Peoples of Siberia, was published in 1999 by Seuil.She also published Artek, a summer in the Crimea (ed.de La Martiniere, 2004) and Loulan Beauty (The Oak, 2007). She is represented by Galerie Camera Obscura in Paris and is a member of the agency VII.

Are you bored? Make an animal!

Unfortunately I didn’t manage to find any information neither about the author nor about this work of his. Therefor I can only guess which purpose was this made for. At first I thought it was some sort of commercial or a creative ad for new zoo that was opened, but there was no such information in the pictures. Then I thought it is some sort of artistic performance, but I don’t see anything artistic about this. So finally I decided that these photos are the outcome of some boring afternoon, when the photographer and his mate didn’t have anything better to do so they played Halloween all day long dressing up as animals.

Here are some propaganda posters from the 1930 and 1940 from America that were supposed to raise awareness of the sexually transmitted diseases. At wartime this propaganda was targeted at soldiers. Wartime propaganda of the ’30s and ’40s didn’t stop at the physical enemy on the other side of the trenches. Guilt and scare tactics were common in the battle against the spread of sexually transmitted diseases within the American public at large and in the military in particular.

Soccer fans celebrating

Oh, no! Another goal! Someone, please call the fire brigade! It might sound like exaggerating, but it actually isn’t that far from truth. Soccer fans are very passionate and they are well known for throwing great parties that aren’t always very safe. Many of them end up by calling the fire squad and often the police has to intervene. And on top of all that they are notorious for their violence and street fights. I guess all that adrenaline and testosterone in the air inevitably leads to explosion of outrage, fires, people getting hurt, broken legs and heads and all that rough stuff.

Capturing movement in images is something that many photographers only think to do when they are photographing sports or other fast moving subjects. While there is an obvious opportunity in sports photography to emphasize the movement of participants – almost every type of photography can benefit from the emphasis of movement in a shot – even when the movement is very small, slow and/or subtle. Here are some examples of how it looks like when a motion is emphasized in non-sport related photos. It looks really amazing. Football Fans Armory

Believe it or not this is the weapon that has been confiscated from some football fans in Rome, Italy on the day that there was a derby between two favorite football teams in Rome. I can’t believe how much of it there is. It’s like they were getting ready for some smaller civil war or revolution. And on top of that all, this is just the weapon that was on a few of the fans that police managed to catch, and what’s with the ones that they didn’t get to? This is really terrible. What do you think about violence on sports events?
