Here are the best excerpts from 1948′s illustrated guide book for women named “You and Your Sex Life”. It seems rather out of date and probably most of the women and especially feminists will feel highly insulted by ridiculous attitudes you can find here. First and most importantly, a woman is dominated by her sex, because her whole life is wrapped around being a wife and a mother, and that’s pretty much it. If a woman doesn’t fulfill any of these two roles, she’ll end up angry and frustrated!

This photo gallery is named “The beauty of an ugly addiction” and is work of Frieke Janssens, advertising photographer that lives and works in Belgium. These shocking and deeply disturbing images present children smoking and are created to raise people’s awareness on the problem of smoking. The artist is probably trying to say that adults who smoke are like children who can’t willfully decide whether or not to partake in this horribly harmful habit. I only hope that the photos below are photoshoped and aren’t really kids who smoke cigarettes, cigarillos, the ones with white and without filters.

Do you love tanning in the sun or are you more of a person who visits tanning studios? Whatever your favorite way of getting nice brown tan is, you should know that if after your trip to solarium or a day out and tanning at the beach, when you come back home, you realize that your skin looks even remotely like this, you definitely over did it. Here are the ten worst possible examples of unsuccessful and unreasonable tanning, something you don’t want to do for sure. These people really look terrible. especially the old ladies at the beach. Their skin looks awfully dry and in desperate need for some moisturizer. They remind me a bit of dry and overcooked turkey, like a Thanks-giving dinner with my family, yes, a disaster is the right word.

Invisible mother, how bizarre is this? Apparently, in the Victorian time, there was a common practice of mother covering her head or the entire body with a piece of clothe, tablecloth or even curtain and then hold her baby really tightly for the photographer to take the best and most focused image possible. Sometimes they would cut the mother out completely from the picture, thus making her part of the background, which actually looked better. In other cases, the mother with the rag on her head remained in the family photo. Here are the images. I really tried to stay impartial, but it was too much. It’s simply too demeaning and it makes me sick.

New and Even Weirder Kobi Levi’s Shoes

Kobi Levi has built reputation of a quite eccentric shoe designer. For some reason he thinks of a classic shoes as dull and unaesthetic and he tries to create a new modern shoe that will have a completely different form and shape. He went so far in changing the shape of a shoe that it became unwearable. He combined the elements of nature like flowers, birds and animals, but also some from the urban life – like a gum stuck on the shoe that turned into a heel. His shoes are definitely something different, new and interesting, but I have to admit I would never wear anything like this in public. What do you think?

The Franklin Institute from Philadelphia invites visitors to an unusual exhibition called “Mummies of the world.” Every exhibit in this exhibition is unique. Here you can see the dog who’s remains were buried in peat bogs in Germany about five hundred years, and embalmed child, who lived 6420 years ago in Peru. The exhibition features forty-five mummies and ninety-five items related to mummification and embalming. The exhibition “Mummies of the World” was prepared with the participation of experts from fifteen European institutions under the auspices of the German Museum Reiss Engelhorn-Mannheim. The exhibition has visited many major U.S. cities.

An international exhibition of funeral art and ritual supplies took place sometime around Halloween in Moscow, Russia. Beside the coffins and crosses there was also a catwalk organized and models were all dressed up like grieving widows. A bit dark and twisted if you ask me, but apparently it went on well and there were many visitors to the event. Have a look at the images below to see what it looked like.

Morbid restaurant in Belgium

Great restaurant, but unfortunately I hear it’s been closed for two years now. I wonder why? I guess it has something to do with people losing their appetite among all these skulls, bones, blood and whole morbid atmosphere in the restaurant. Aside from that tiny problem of people not being able to eat in it, it is really a great restaurant, with truly unique design, but somehow that wasn’t enough. This is what I call bad business managing, but still great photos, though!

The Beauty and Elegance of Women Boxing

Women are considered to be a gentle and fragile sex and are looked on as weaker and more delicate then men. But, since the beginning of twentieth century and even more since the sex revolution that took place in sixties of the last century, women started to reject this role and the place that was given to them (role of a mother and wife, and place that is in the house) and started to take up all sorts of jobs and positions that until then used to be reserved for men only. It is all great and I fully support this, but while looking at these pictures below, somehow I feel like some sports should remain just for men. It is really disturbing to look at these bloody female faces with that terrible amount of pain on them. What do you think about this?

For all of those who were asking themselves where Lady Gaga is and what will here new scandal be, here it is! She appeared on MTV Video Music Awards wearing this tasty, but a bit undercooked dress made completely out of raw meat. The meat wasn’t covering only her dress, but both her shoes and small hat. She might have wanted to send a massage about unfairness of killing animals and wearing fur or something like that, but she didn’t said anything about that, so I guess her point pretty much was – hey everybody, look at me!

Opium garden in northern Thailand

In one village in northern Thailand you can easily bump into a field of opium poppies. Here in these photos you can see one isolated hut that is near one of these fields and have a look how the owner is living. I really like what he has done with the place. You can really sense the atmosphere that he was going for, and that would probably be the creepy, weird, dark and twisted atmosphere! I wouldn’t dare drinking that snake brandy sober, and even less on opium.

Who is this guy? Mystery man keeps appearing on live news reports

This guy has been making random appearances on live television for the last couple of months. He has appeared in the background of live news reports on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky News at random locations and at random times. It seems if there is a camera crew about at the moment, he is there too!

The latest time I’ve spotted him was today on the ITV lunchtime news where he stood in the background of an outside broadcast by the Houses of Parliament.

He has also been spotted in the background of an episode of the Antiques Roadshow.

Photoshop is really powerful tool and you can make wonderful images if you know how to use it. Here are some great photos below where you can see some amazing results and best of photoshop works. They are a bit dark and twisted, but if you have a sense of humor you’ll probably enjoy watching these. My personal favorites are the ones with combination of two or more different species. Punk’s not Dead

Vivienne Westwood, British fashion designer and businesswoman, is largely responsible for bringing modern punk and new wave into fashion mainstream. Some say it lost its point by becoming mainstream and that it is now only a bunch of safety pins, razor blades, bicycle or lavatory chains on clothing and spiked dog collars for jewelery. Here are some of her shoes notorious for making people fall while wearing them. (We all remember supermodel Naomi Campbell falling down during a Westwood fashion show in Paris in 1994). In my opinion, these shoes are extremely ugly, uncomfortable and they make people fall down! The question is why do people still buy these extremely expensive shoes.

Why is he doing this?

OMG! This looks so bizarre! Does anybody know why the hell is this guy doing this to himself and why are all of these people standing right beside him and doing nothing but watching this poor fella hurting himself? It seems to me like religious thing, because only the religion has such a power to make people do painful and foolish things. Anyway, if anyone knows what is going on in these photos below please let me know. Thanks!

Kopi Luwak is really expensive and among the most luxurious coffees that exist. And the reason why this sort of coffee is so special is it’s method of preparing. Kopi luwak, or civet coffee, is coffee made from the beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by the Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) and other related civets, then passed through its digestive tract.

Teeth jewelry

This is terrible! I can’t believe someone would actually like wearing something like this. Below in these pictures you can see jewelry made out from real human teeth. If you lose a tooth and you refuse to part it you can make this sort of “stylish” jewelry. Crazy, right?

Beer packed in weasels

How weird is this? A beer packed in a weasel? If someone brought to me this beer I would probably think that I have drank too much and that I’m hallucinating. But the truth is that Scottish brewery BrewDog has released a new super-strong beer named The End of the History that contains 55 % alcohol. Wow! After drinking something with so much alcohol you probably wouldn’t care anymore about the rights of the animals and stuff like that.

World record in number of piercings

Getting into Guinness’s Book of World Records is always a matter of prestige and people are trying really hard to break old and set new world records. In achieving this goal they are trying to find always new and creative categories. Damn! I guess these girl Patricia Weller really doesn’t like plush and stuffed animals, I mean just have a look at these photos below and you’ll see what I’m talking about. She went through all that trouble of making a beautiful, cute an lovely plush toys only to kill them latter on and then, like the act of killing them wasn’t enough, she had to take a triumphal salvage in form of morbid photos! Just kidding! I really like here blunt and thoughtless cruelty.

I’m feeling a bit bad for even using the word fashion here, because these people are so far from it that it hurts! It so tacky, tasteless and terrible that it reminds me of a horrible car crash with dead bodies and blood all over the place, but for some peculiar reason you can’t look away, it’s like your eyes are stuck on that massacre and like you’re hypnotized. Well, it’s something like that with these photos too. These eccentric people were probably thinking that if they put enough of ugly things on themselves it will somehow magically turn around and become beautiful! In case you’ve had some similar ideas, here’s what not to wear!

OMG! Now, is this a mad world that we’re living in or what? Here you’ll see a 2-year old Indonesian boy Ardi Rizal who is addicted to nicotine. He started smoking at the age of 18 months when his genius father gave him his first cigarette and he didn’t stop since then. His parent tell that they can’t stop him from smoking now, because he is being insufferable without the smokes and he keeps banging his head against the wall!

Lady Gaga has lately became very popular with its catchy songs that simply stick to your ear and next thing you know you’re humming her tune all day long. And the worst thing about it is that it’s not that great tune at all, but you simply can’t get rid of it. It’s the same with her outfit. She dresses up in weird and pompous costumes only to shock the audience, and you know it’s all on purpose, but still you can’t help looking at her unusual dresses, hairstyle, make up, etc. I simply can’t make up my mind if she annoys me, or I adore her maladjusted style. What do you think about this world’s new diva?

Vietnamese Vodka

Wow! Now, I’m not sure if I’m more amazed, scared or abhorred. This is simply disgusting. I can’t imagine drinking this Vietnamese Vodka with all those insects and reptiles in it. Apparently this sort of alcohol — liquor infused with insects or reptiles — is very popular in some Asian cultures, as it is believed to be an aphrodisiac. No matter how aphrodisiac it might be, you won’t see me anytime soon having a swing from that bottle. How about you? Would you drink this rattlesnake-infused vodka?
