The reason they aren’t afraid of us anymore is because ignorant people feed them. Like I said, they’ve attacked my animals, and even came close to attacking my wife and grand kids. The attacks on my animals were vicious, costing me several hundreds of dollars in vet bills. I love my animals, so that right there is reason enough that I shoot these cute little racoons when they come close to the house.

I REALLY love my family, and the fact that the racoons puffed up at them, is even more reason that they get shot.

I’m an animal lover. I hate to kill anything that I’m not going to eat.

If you love these cute little racoons, too, you’ll stop feeding them, so they don’t end up on my porch……with a hole in their heads.

They can be cute, but they can also be vicious. They’ve attacked my dog and cat, and even puffed up hissing at my wife and small grand kids when they walked out on our deck one night. If they didn’t have that cute face most people would look at them as the giant rats that they are. They are also carriers of rabies.

You aren’t doing them any favors by feeding the wild ones. They learn that people mean food, so they aren’t afraid of us anymore. Then the poor ones that you’ve been feeding make their way onto my porch looking for a hand out, and end up getting shot.
