Have a look at these amazing and realistic dolls made by Russian artist Alexandra Kokinova. Alexandra is a frequent guest and winner of various international dolls exhibitions. Her limited edition dolls are hand made from porcelain have height up to 60 cm. Gorgeous costumes are made from silk and decorated with natural fur, beads and subtle laces. All the details of the costumes from the last ribbon to the tiniest pearl on the dress are reproduced with amazing technical and artistic skill. Semi-precious and precious stones and antique knickknacks are often used as accessories. Each doll is the result of painstaking work and is absolutely unique. Hope you’ll like them!

Since that time sales of the most valuable paintings have usually been made at auctions, though that had by no means always been the case before, and the list below still shows some “private sales”, including the three most expensive. The current record price was paid for a work from No. 5, 1948 by Jackson Pollock sold at US$140 million in 2006, (approx. $150.6 million in CPI-adjusted 2010 US dollars)

Wipeout anime

For all of you anime lovers there is no need to describe this type of cartoons, but maybe there are people out there that aren’t aware that they might like this sort of drawings because they’ve never seen them before. In few words, anime refers to the style of drawing that comes from Japan and is heavily influenced by the manga (Japanese comics). Characters have big eyes, long hair and exaggerated facial expressions. Some people connect these cartoons with wipeout TV Shows, but there are actually plenty of anime that aren’t in this massacre and annihilation style.

Just in case you like action movies and scenes that raise your blood pressure and your heart beat you might want to check out the TV Guide to see when and where you can see this kind of shows. I’m not sure why people love watching this kind of cartoons, but apparently they are quite popular. In my opinion they are too violent and I don’t like this unrealistic sort of drawing, but there are many fans of wipeout anime, not only in Japan, but all over the world. Their world fame started at the beginning of twentieth century in Germany with a short video, and since then has spread all over the world.

Greg’s frog perspective

Greg Du Toit – 32 year old photographer, animal painter, who always wanted to photograph the animals at the watering. He sat on the trees, and hid in the bushes – all in vain, animals, barely hearing suspicious noises, used to forget about the water and run away. As a result, Greg found a way out – he spent three months in the water up to his neck, armed with a camera. As a result, he received a unique “frog perspective” and … a whole bunch of tropical diseases.
