Glamorous photography

It was expected that these images will look charming and glamorous, but the final result was a bit different. There is quite a gap between what they wanted to look like and the reality. These images are great example of people having wrong perception of themselves. Or maybe this is some of that new age stuff about positive attitudes that will give positive results in life. :)

    #14 is actually not a bad photo – the woman is just old and does not look ‘bad’ or… whatever you want to call most of the rest of these!

    Clearly these pics are all from the Glamour Shots – craze of the 80′s. In THAT context most are OK. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. These folks were probably taking pics for their significant other.

    Having made that disclaimer – the chick in the jeans is scary!! The dude with the cat almost made me pee my pants! Is trying to be Stuart Smalley??? And WHY did the blonde chick with glasses pick THAT particular pose – its hilarious and frightening!

    Finally Artst Spot, it seems that perhaps the writer of this piece just likes to make fun of middle-aged and/or plus sized women. FYI – I think the older lady w/ the red boa looks fabulous! Hope I can still rock a **** pose when I’m over 60!
