A phobia is an intense fear of any object, place or situation that often causes elevated stress and suffering. The most common symptoms of anxiety, nausea, sweating, dry mouth, panic attack, breathlessness and feeling of helplessness.
There are many serious phobias that greatly affect the life of any individual but apart from that there are some strange fears or strange phobias that no body can even think or imagine. Many people suffer from phobias like fear of flying, fear of laughter and fear of spider. These unusual and strange fears often lead to elevated stress and a sense of impending death.

Limnophobia: Fear of Lakes
In most of these cases the phobia of some specific object can often be related with the most essential, original fear that every human being senses, the fear of death. Sometimes it’s quite obvious as for example in the case of rhytiphobia, the fear of getting wrinkles, or the placophobia – the fear of tombstones, where the connection is obvious, but sometimes it’s not that plane and simple. Then we have the “strange phobias”, like some of these below. I’m sure that it’s no fun at all to the people that have these fears, but you’ll have to admit, that it is a bit funny.
