We’ve all heard about them, they are ridiculously large, extremely wild and people from all over the world pack their bags to be there and to over-indulge yourself in all possible ways and to have the time of their lives. This is my bucket list for the parties I want to visit before I die. For now, I’ve seen two of these ten – Full Moon Party and Songkran when I was in Thailand last year. I haven’t yet decided Which will be my next destination for this year.

Posted in Misc by sanela | Tags: alcohol, around the world, bizarre, cures, hangover, headache, humor, ingredients, nausea, overindulge, remedies, ridiculousTonight is the New Years Eve, and I suppose everybody will have at least one or two drinks. Well, for those of us who usually tend to overindulge in alcohol, the next day will start with an old familiar feeling of headache, dizziness, dry mouth and nausea, better known as hangover. Well, this year, I decided to do a little research and find out what are the best cures for hangover, but I only came across some ridiculous and absurd remedies which include rather bizarre ingredients like pickled sheep eyeballs, rabbit poop, etc. Therefor, I came to a conclusion, there isn’t really much you can do, once you find yourself in this poor condition. We can only try to be moderate in our drinking (yeah, like that ever happens) and make fun of all these ridiculous hangover cures from around the world.

Here are a few images of different types of beer from around the world. We can even say we’re going on a beer trip around the world. Enjoy and cheers!:)
Beer packed in weasels
Posted in Weird by sanela | Tags: alcohol, animal, beer, crazy, packing, strangeHow weird is this? A beer packed in a weasel? If someone brought to me this beer I would probably think that I have drank too much and that I’m hallucinating. But the truth is that Scottish brewery BrewDog has released a new super-strong beer named The End of the History that contains 55 % alcohol. Wow! After drinking something with so much alcohol you probably wouldn’t care anymore about the rights of the animals and stuff like that.
Vietnamese Vodka
Posted in Weird by sanela | Tags: alcohol, Asia, insects, liquor, reptiles, VietnameseWow! Now, I’m not sure if I’m more amazed, scared or abhorred. This is simply disgusting. I can’t imagine drinking this Vietnamese Vodka with all those insects and reptiles in it. Apparently this sort of alcohol — liquor infused with insects or reptiles — is very popular in some Asian cultures, as it is believed to be an aphrodisiac. No matter how aphrodisiac it might be, you won’t see me anytime soon having a swing from that bottle. How about you? Would you drink this rattlesnake-infused vodka?
World’s Most Expensive Spirits and Liquors
Posted in Misc by sanela | Tags: alcohol, drinks, expensive, liquor, luxury, spirits, the most expensive drinks in the world, vintageHere goes the list of world’s most expensive spirits and liquors. It’s really crazy that anyone would pay so much money just for one single bottle of drink. And on top of that, you don’t even get to drink it, because you’ve payed so much for it. It simply makes no sense if you ask me! Anyway, here you can at least have a look at this list if you can’t posses any of this luxury vintage pieces. Enjoy!
8. Highland Park 40-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whiskey
2007 Distiller of the Year Highland Park has introduced a permanent flagship 40 year old single malt Scotch whiskey expression it refers to as a “harmonious masterpiece.” Having personally sampled this liquid luxury, I concur. Aged primarily in previously-filled sherry oak casks and with a rich, coppery amber hue, Highland Park 40 Year Old offers a spicy and aromatic bouquet of dark fruits, nutmeg and dark chocolate, with palate notes of toffee and sun dried orange zest. At $2,000 per bottle, Highland Park 40 Year Old is among the world’s most luxe libations indeed.
