This year saw the expansion of all elements of the festival and the theme was FANTASY.The Carnivale was again be ‘A Festival of Colour’ centred around body art in its many and varied forms. For members of the public, it was nothing short of phenomenal to watch the human canvases take shape during the competitions.
Dynamic photos of surfers in Australia

Surfing also takes place on rivers, riding a standing wave. Australian photographer Mark Tippl took these great and breathtaking underwater pictures of people surfing and snorkeling. Photographer probably got tired of the usual surfer photos taken from above the water and he decided to add some dynamics to his work by photographing the waves at the Australian coast from a new angle – beneath the surface of the water. I have to admit it looks really great and I wish I could dive into this water while watching the photos.
