There is nothing strange in actors being prettier and more handsome than the real life people and people we meet everyday. Finally that is the main reason why the Hollywood actors are so over payed for the job they do. Aside from being ridiculously rich, their fans simply adore them and collect pictures of them, signatures, various items that the adored celebrity used at some point, etc. And all of this happens just because we like looking at beautiful people. Even when the movie is telling the biography and life story of a real person, we need to make them more pleasing to the eye, so we could connect and sympathize with the character. It’s like the ugly people have no emotions at all, or if they do, they are always the ‘bad guys’ in the story. Anyhow, here are some images of the actors who are way better looking than the real life characters they played.

Beautiful and fragile artwork

Believe it or not, this amazing colorful artwork was made out of paper. It is amazing what can be done from a simple piece of paper. I guess that is how you can recognize a true artist from a phony one. True artist looks at the world with different eye. He sees potential in each object and future form in every material. Visiting Kamchatka

The famous traveler Ivan Dementievsky brought us absolutely stunning photographs of Kamchatka from his journey to this amazing peninsula well know for its numerous volcanoes. Here on these photos you can see these volcanoes a few minutes before the eruption and quiet hills in the morning mist. The moments caught in these photos are simply electric and filled with anticipation of the terrible disaster, but still so calm and tranquil that it seems like a scene from a fairy tale. Enjoy!

Our Beautiful Planet

This is one great overlook on our beautiful planet, it’s like you’re flying in a balloon and looking down on all these amazing landscapes, people, and scenes. And it really does look amazing. It just like if you take one step back and look at everything from a distance you’ll see that this is a pretty planet and that people are amazing, despite all the wars, politics and crushing economy. We should probably take a better care of our planet and nature and maybe stop to smell the flowers more often.

Beautiful and Realistic Sculptures

Have a look at these amazing and realistic dolls made by Russian artist Alexandra Kokinova. Alexandra is a frequent guest and winner of various international dolls exhibitions. Her limited edition dolls are hand made from porcelain have height up to 60 cm. Gorgeous costumes are made from silk and decorated with natural fur, beads and subtle laces. All the details of the costumes from the last ribbon to the tiniest pearl on the dress are reproduced with amazing technical and artistic skill. Semi-precious and precious stones and antique knickknacks are often used as accessories. Each doll is the result of painstaking work and is absolutely unique. Hope you’ll like them!

Beauty can indeed be found everywhere, even behind the bars! Here is the Miss Prison or Miss Captive, a beauty pageant held behind the bars – in jail! More and more women’s prisons are turning to beauty pageants as a way to boost morale. The pageants are mostly held in Latin America and Russia. Pageants with names like Miss Prison and Miss Captive won’t get you any time off for good behavior, but prison officials say they actually do reduce violence and get women to think about what they want to do when they get out.

In touch with nature

Every true photography lover will find this images deeply moving and inspiring. Have a look at these great black and white pictures showing the beauty of nature and the delicate connection of human with it. We’ve came out of nature, but we seem to have forgotten our origins. Because of the lack of this connection we feel incomplete and frustrated, but we seem to deny it. Maybe these images will help us remember where we came from and help us find our inner peace.
