Cool Facts and the Most Ridiculous Hangover Cures

Tonight is the New Years Eve, and I suppose everybody will have at least one or two drinks. Well, for those of us who usually tend to overindulge in alcohol, the next day will start with an old familiar feeling of headache, dizziness, dry mouth and nausea, better known as hangover. Well, this year, I decided to do a little research and find out what are the best cures for hangover, but I only came across some ridiculous and absurd remedies which include rather bizarre ingredients like pickled sheep eyeballs, rabbit poop, etc. Therefor, I came to a conclusion, there isn’t really much you can do, once you find yourself in this poor condition. We can only try to be moderate in our drinking (yeah, like that ever happens) and make fun of all these ridiculous hangover cures from around the world.

When you’re in England and you enjoy driving across the country, there is one thing that will definitely pop out and come to your attention - the old pubs with the wittiest, most unusual or in some cases even bizarre names. I get the feeling that the owners are competing in naming their pubs in the most peculiar ways, just for their own amusement, because they enjoy looking at the visitors befuddled faces. In some cases there is even a great story behind the pub’s name and the owner will gladly share it with you over a pint or two of beer. Here are the 11 most bizarre English pub names, I came across. The Invisible Mothers of the Victorian Era in Pictures

Invisible mother, how bizarre is this? Apparently, in the Victorian time, there was a common practice of mother covering her head or the entire body with a piece of clothe, tablecloth or even curtain and then hold her baby really tightly for the photographer to take the best and most focused image possible. Sometimes they would cut the mother out completely from the picture, thus making her part of the background, which actually looked better. In other cases, the mother with the rag on her head remained in the family photo. Here are the images. I really tried to stay impartial, but it was too much. It’s simply too demeaning and it makes me sick.

Morbid restaurant in Belgium

Great restaurant, but unfortunately I hear it’s been closed for two years now. I wonder why? I guess it has something to do with people losing their appetite among all these skulls, bones, blood and whole morbid atmosphere in the restaurant. Aside from that tiny problem of people not being able to eat in it, it is really a great restaurant, with truly unique design, but somehow that wasn’t enough. This is what I call bad business managing, but still great photos, though!

Competition in fast pizza eating

If you think you eat pizza fast, you should check out this guys at the competition in fast pizza eating. The winner (this Japanese guy) managed to eat about 50 pizzas in 15 minutes! It’s really bizarre! Do you think you can beat his record? He’s freakishly thin and fit considering the sport discipline that he has taken. I expected to see here photos of bunch of fat couch-potatoes that can barely move, but this guy looks like Jackie Chan.

2-year-old heavy smoker

OMG! Now, is this a mad world that we’re living in or what? Here you’ll see a 2-year old Indonesian boy Ardi Rizal who is addicted to nicotine. He started smoking at the age of 18 months when his genius father gave him his first cigarette and he didn’t stop since then. His parent tell that they can’t stop him from smoking now, because he is being insufferable without the smokes and he keeps banging his head against the wall!

The weirdest stuffed animals

Personally, I’m not really fond of stuffed animals. It simply looks creepy and spooky and I feel sorry for the poor animals. I mean, isn’t it enough that they were killed just for someone’s fun and amusement, but do they above that need to be stuffed and serve as decor in that person’s house where everybody who enters will see their unfortunate bodies and the fear in their eyes, caught just before they were brutally killed.

Dark and twisted toys

Things have definitely changed! I can’t remember playing with toys like this when I was a kid. Besides that, I don’t think there are parents today who would buy this kind of toys to their kids. Maybe it is made just for laughs, but there are some photos that show happy kid with a big smile on his face ridding in some sort of monsterobile! Maybe he is to young to realize what is his ride supposed to be, but I’m pretty sure that his parents should know better.

Have a look at these crazy pictures of Russian people in some of the weirdest and most bizarre actions. Some of these situations are even a bit sad in my opinion. And for those bad moments you should blame vodka, the traditional Russian drink, and for others just strange human nature! The strangest thing is the ease of living and how people are not reacting to some strange and obviously weird situations. They seem to find it rather usual and conventional. For example, seeing a naked man in the street, when the weather is cold and there is snow would make me say “What the f…?” but not these people. They simply continue their polite conversation like everything is fine.
