Disturbingly Glamorous Photos of Kids Smoking

Posted in Weird by sanela | Tags: addiction, art, children, disturbing, kids, problem, shocking, smoking

This photo gallery is named “The beauty of an ugly addiction” and is work of Frieke Janssens, advertising photographer that lives and works in Belgium. These shocking and deeply disturbing images present children smoking and are created to raise people’s awareness on the problem of smoking. The artist is probably trying to say that adults who smoke are like children who can’t willfully decide whether or not to partake in this horribly harmful habit. I only hope that the photos below are photoshoped and aren’t really kids who smoke cigarettes, cigarillos, the ones with white and without filters.

Using Children in Protests

Posted in Life by sanela | Tags: children, demonstrations, kids, photos, politics, protests, wrong

Protesters are using all sort of means to get their massage through, but some things are a bit too much if you ask me. For example, using children in protests is totally not OK. I’m sure there are people who will say they don’t see anything wrong in parading with their kids on their shoulders, but I can’t possibly agree with that. What do you think about children being used in demonstrations?

The Worst Parenting Fails Ever

Posted in Fun by sanela | Tags: bad, child care, children, fail, kids, parenting, parents, taking care

Bad parenting got to a whole new level with these guys in the pictures below! I can’t believe how far is human stupidity able to go. It would be great if there was some sort of test for the future parents to see their IQ level and test their capability of taking care of a human being. I feel sorry for these kids, but probably, when they grow up, they’ll be a true parenting fail just like their own parents.

Say Cheese!

Posted in Life by sanela | Tags: children, emotion, moving, people, photos, smile

These images are really inspiring and moving. Just look at these children and people and the terrible conditions that they are living in, but nevertheless, they manage to smile. This should remind us all to try and smile more. This little and simple gesture is very powerful. It costs nothing, but it makes life so much easier. Also the great thing about smile is the fact that it spreads surprisingly easily. Just think how many times someone smiled at you and soon you were smiling too. Enjoy in this great gallery and spread good vibrations and emotions.

Children of war

Posted in Life by sanela | Tags: children, death, grief, hunger, Life, people, sadness, war

The generation, born from 1928 to 1945 didn’t have a childhood, it was stolen from them by those sad years of World War II. They are also called “Children of the Great Patriotic War”, but there’s nothing great about that if you ask me. All I can see on these images are sadness, orphans, dead people and grief. Take a deep breath and have a look at these disturbing black and white historic images.

School buses in India

Posted in Life by sanela | Tags: buses, children, India, photos, school, transportation

Probably first reaction to this photos is saying that it is terrible how children are being transported like a cattle in small wagons, but if you think about the situation of this country and it’s culture you might even look at these vehicles as regular transportation car. These small yellow tricycles in India have the same role as yellow school buses in America. This culture, common throughout the world is one that has grown organically, where distances are short enough to be cycled (where litigation is minimal!) and where homebrew transportation is common.

Living with pollution

Posted in Life by sanela | Tags: children, deviation, environment, photos, pollution

China is one of the most polluted countries in the world today, and that is nothing new. But still, maybe you should have a look at these images below and see how bad it actually is. Here are some deeply moving and disturbing images of deviated children and their parents. I don’t know if anything could be done for them. I can only imagine what is their life like and through how many problems they are going every day. And yet seeing this and knowing that we are slowly destroying ourselves nothing is concretely being done for the environment. By the time that we finally wake up it might be too late. While looking at these images, I feel that even now it is too late and we’ve reached the point where there’s no turning back.
