But, since the beginning of twentieth century and even more since the sex revolution that took place in sixties of the last century, women started to reject this role and the place that was given to them (role of a mother and wife, and place that is in the house) and started to take up all sorts of jobs and positions that until then used to be reserved for men only. It is all great and I fully support this, but while looking at these pictures below, somehow I feel like some sports should remain just for men. It is really disturbing to look at these bloody female faces with that terrible amount of pain on them. What do you think about this?
Why is he doing this?

Does anybody know why the hell is this guy doing this to himself and why are all of these people standing right beside him and doing nothing but watching this poor fella hurting himself? It seems to me like religious thing, because only the religion has such a power to make people do painful and foolish things. In achieving this goal they are trying to find always new and creative categories. This dude in the photos below decided to get into this book by becoming a man that has made the most piercings on his body. I really hope he made it, because he seems to be in lots of pain!

It is said that anything could be done by the power of will, and this boys are a very obvious example for that, but somehow it is still hard for me to believe what I’m seeing. They are standing on knives, lying on broken glass, and still if you look to their face expression, they don’t seem to be in any pain at all!
They feel no pain

They are are piercing their thongs, faces and almost every part of their body, but they don’t seem to feel any pain. It’s so strange and impressive. Reminds me of the great fakirs, walking barefoot on burning coals, sitting or sleeping on a bed of nails, levitating during bouts of meditation, or “living on air” (refusing all food). It’s fascinating how much power human mind posses.
