Tough gals

These are some tough gals! I really wouldn’t like to have any sort of problems with them. It’s kind of funny, because we are not used to see women so strong. It is reserved for men, while women on the other side are expected to be fragile, thine and helpless.

tough gals01

These women are exactly the opposite of those expectations. They have strength, power and firmness and you don’t feel the need to hold a door for them or buy them flowers. It is more likely to ask one of them over to watch a game with her and have a beer.

tough gals02

Also, where ever they go they attract a lot of attention. Most of the people think they look repulsive and some even feel sorry for them, because they think that these women must have some sort of problems that they couldn’t resolve.

tough gals03

But it is normal for everybody who breaks some code and steps out from what is considered to be usual and acceptable. It is inevitable that he or she will face many critics and will be viewed with a scornful eye.

tough gals04

In some way, I think they are very bold and I admire them for that, but still I can’t find them attractive or sexy in anyway possible.

tough gals05

These images are supposed to present them in that way, but in my opinion they aren’t attractive nor charming at all. They simply look strange. Like something on a half way between a man and a woman.

tough gals06

What do you think about female bodybuilders? Do you find them attractive or repulsive? Feel free to comment.

I find this disgusting but people are free to do whatever they want with their body. If they feel good about themselves, awesome. I would never do something like that to my body thou.

  • Yoshi

If I were ***, they might be attractive but they look so much like guys that I find them repulsive. Toned women are cool but this is ugly. Just wait when all that muscle turns to fat! :)

  • Lynda

Oh these poor deluded women. I can’t imagine what they’re seeing when they look in the mirror. No amount of “good health” would be worth how they look.

  • http://msn god

whats real funny is they think that they are attractive, everyone of them is a carnival freak, cant wait to see what one of these creatures look like in her ah its later years

    • http://msn god

couldnt have said it better myself

  • Tina

I think most of these girls are beautiful. Some have mannish features though that makes it look like photoshopped mans head on womans body

  • joshua

i think female bodybuilders are amazing its just….would they feel it go in? or would theyre muscley *** cheeks squeeze it into spaghetti

  • Max

In general most female body builders are pretty hot. However, if you look like you’d win in a Mickey Rourke look-alike contest or if you’re startin’ to buck Arnold for his Mr. Olympia status it might be time to tone it down. The overly manly chicks would probably look like men anyway… even if they weren’t buff!

  • Al

Who doesn’t love a female who can defend herself and kick doesn’t anyone to walk all over her. But for that goes as much as self defence and not this.

  • Ann

I think that many of these women are ****! Some of them look like they have just finished prepping for a contest, which means their body fat is especially low and their muscles and veins pop. However, think specifically about the women like the last photo who are able to stand on their toes and hands for a looong time. I am married to a woman who is definitely not a body builder, tiny petite thing, but these women are kickin! I get the feeling that some of these poses were for the purpose of seeing the vastness of their muscle, and that they may not look as imposing day to day. Body building has had tragic results in men and women, especially if steroids (legal or not) are involved.

  • Lauren

The issue at hand is not whether or not these women or attractive, because you see, that’s an SUBJECTIVE opinion. Obviously they don’t give a **** what you think, and thank god for that because most of the comments here seem to be absorbed in pseudo-traditional definitions of gender normality. Femininity and masculinity are social constructs, that means that although people who defy these ideas are subject to rampant criticism (see earlier comments), they define themselves.
That’s critical because self-love and self-satisfaction come only from fulfilling our own goals in life, not those that are projected upon us by society. And like every single person who chooses to express their unique individuality or kink they find a depth of self-worth that is unavailable to those who simply choose to follow the norm. My guess is these women experience a profound sense of accomplishment (as they should!) for working so hard to achieve a goal that they set for themselves.
Because of that confidence and determination I find them incredibly ****.

  • Lauren

I can’t believe “***-y” was bleeped! And in case that was bleeped too: I said they were hot!

  • Lara Ferox

I find them less repulsive than male bodybuilders, at least. But then again, I think people with wide hips and narrow shoulders are the sh*t so I’m not a good person to ask. Now, a girl (or guy) with a nice set of hips AND natural muscle? That’s a different story. ;]

    • crazysquid

Uh, Most of them are Male Body Builders. If you can not distinguish between them then you need a better monitor. I have seen some of them on Stumble under “Transvestites” that pop up once in a while. Duct Tape doe’s wonders to hide the truth.

      • Charlotte

LOL, that’s right, it couldn’t *possibly* be that they were mis-categorized the first time.

Have you ever seen a female body-building competition? I ASSURE YOU, these women exist.

Now, taking steroids would of course make them more masculine, not just in the face, and shrinking breasts, but it also causes womens’ clitoris’ to grow, so, yeah, some of these once-women could be sort of…eh, in-between at this point, but they were born female.

  • Fx

Way to much testosterone for my taste, I’m afraid… and not to be unkind, but some of the pics looked Photoshopped, masculine facial features superimposed on a female bodybuilder.

  • patmos

Dating one of these ‘girls’ would be as near as one could get to homosexuality without crossing the line.Still, horses for courses, good luck to them and their fans.

  • Duhh

Just cuz they have muscles does not mean they are tough. also a greater portion of the so called ladies here are NOT ladies. I hate stupid articles that are just thrown together like everyone is stupid.

  • frank

Everyone of these women that look like men are the product of steroid abuse. They is no natural way of obtaining this look otherwise naturally. They will have medical issues down the their road of life one day. If I felt attracted to them I would question my *** tendencies!
    ;-/

  • anonymous too

Sorry..but I watched a documentary on a few of these gals (the one in the pink 2pc hold the bar was one) and once they cut through the BS…yes…they all had some sort of issue that made them gravitate and find power or whatever they are looking for building their bodies into a classic male physique.

There are more unhealthy obsessions than body building but there is also something going on in their psyche that drives them to have a dis-morphic body issue.

The scariest ones (Cowboy girl-boy for instance) is total steroid abuse. I don’t call that healthy at all!

    • crazysquid

I think perhaps they have had the procedure, “ADADICKTAME” which is a common result from the malady that you have mentioned.

  • Peregrin

I don’t find all these pictures attractive, and some of them even look Photoshopped. However, some of them are very hot indeed. Power and strength, in and of themselves, are not antithetic to femininity.

The fantasy art world recently lost Frank Frazetta. Look up his works, along with contemporary Boris Vallejo. You’ll find, in addition to the traditional damsels in distress, quite a number of images portraying women as both bold and beautiful. While we men do like being looked up to as the big strong one, there is something undeniably magnetic about a woman who is strong in her own right.

  • kjg

    Disgusting.

  • DanielAnver

Most of the female bodybuilders are rather quite unattractive. especially those with the huge muscular arms and legs. And if they were to be at the beach topless. no one will ever notice that they are women. Making themselves muscular is like changing *** as they look like MAN. But those with the set of abs ONLY are hot.

  • Beth

Personally, I don’t find this type of thing attractive, in women or men. Not just physically, but the fact it has to become some kind of obsession to get this muscular.

  • hi

Most Of Them Have A *****

  • Vlad

Ugly and repulsive. The women that aren’t as horrifying ugly are the less muscular ones. (You know, the ones that actually look like women.) Generally, they all look like men and their certifiably some of the ugliest women on the planet. Case closed.

Stop bodybuilding women, that’s not your place. You want to walk like a man, talk like a man and have muscles like a man? Well, get a ***-change operation and stop trying to LOOK like a woman. And stop complaining and bitching about society, too.

Just some helpful hints from a man who’s sick and tired of your feminism/female bullcrap.

    • Charlotte

      1. Who said they were feminists?

      2. Why do think that feminists want to be men? It sounds like you’re kind of missing the whole point!

      3. I agree that the difference between the femininity their makeup and heels imply is in direct conflict with their over-all image. It is jarring, to say the least.

      4. Why do you think feminists exist? Because they’re tired of all your maleist/male bullcrap. Duh.

      5. You know what is “not your place”? To have amazing, multiple orgasms. Hah!

    • Charlotte

The funniest part is that none of these women would have you, even if you wanted them.

      • ODB

        Owned….2X!!

  • http://sorebuttcheeks.blogspot.com/ Steroid blog

I think some of those girls are very **** and with the juice they are on their *** drives will be sky high :-)

  • John Adams

I definitely find these types of women ATTRACTIVE! But let me elaborate on the specifics. I do NOT like the women that look like men, who buff up and have 20 in. arms~This to me is highly UN-attractive.

That being said, I love girls that have defined legs, they are the most sensual part on a females body. Women like these have tight bodies, and more importantly tight ***’s. If you look at if from a sexual aspect, I would pick a figure model/bodybuilder over those scrawny female calvin klein models.

Check out these models to know what I mean:
    -Larissa Reis
    -Diana Tyuleneva
    -Jamie Eason

All female bodybuilders, and their bodies just make them hotter!

  • Miss Moni

Pretty gross, many of them look like men, mostly the darker skinned ones.

  • Christy

I think that 3-4 of them are hot, but the rest look like men in drag. Power IS ****, but there is a limit on everything. Being able to kick 3 guys asses and being able to lift a mini-van are not as close as feminists try to make it seem. Just to be clear, I don’t think super tiny girls are **** either, but healthy girls are beautiful. Girls of any size that take care of themselves are a major turn on for most people. These girls don’t look healthy, they look like they are suffering from emotional issues and try to exercise away the pain just like girls who overeat and throw up do. It just isn’t ****.

  • Christy

Why did they bleep sexah? It looks like I’m saying something bad- how retarded.

  • Christy

They bleeped Se*y and not asses.. Seriously?

  • nikta

this is gross.. woman are beautiful creatures. to be worshipped and admired. not manly and cave man like.

  • Mellie

I don’t see what everyone’s complaining so much. So many guys these days look like girls and they’re on the top of the must have lists. In contrast to that, alotta the body building guys are not very attractive. Infact, an overly muscled guy is not often found to be that attractive by women, so I don’t see why you’re flabbing your gab about these women not being attracive, coz body builder guys aren’t either…

  • S

In appearance, I do find them repulsive. But then, I find men who look like that to be unbelievably repulsive as well. So for me it’s got nothing to do with their being women, I simply find excessive, drug-induced muscles hideous.

That having been said, each to their own – It’s your body, it’s your choice – and though I personally can’t understand it, some people do find it attractive…I guess personality still counts for more than looks.

  • Julia

Ugh. Gender stereotyping aside, this article is so poorly written.

    Seriously…

  • Lex

DAAAMN! i’d hit that!!! the girls in the pics 4,5,25,27,29,30 look closer to normal women, i find them attractive in a way, but SOME of the rest i think are transgender/transexual female/guys… so i’d rather hit them with my car ;s

  • vivi

the thing is, I don’t even find male bodybuilder attractive, let alone female bodybuilder O_o …. I’m girl by the way

  • http://wanderingpoetry.blogspot.com/ Moses

I have always thought female bodybuilders were cool.Remember “Zap”? It takes hard work and dedication to reach such a goal.

  • Kaila

I’m not even sure most of these are actual females…

  • JAI

I’ve seen some great looking fitness girls and I’ve also seen some terrible ones. The girls above with the exception for a few are all really too big for my liking. As for the the *******/ugly girls commenting on how we are judging these women just because we are doing it in open forum shouldn’t be that big of an issue. You obviously are entitled to your own opinions and us ours. If you were attractive you probably wouldn’t date an ugly person or if you’ve ever been asked out you probably make a decision on the spot about how you perceive that persons looks and if they meet your standard. If we didn’t judge on looks art would be **** but since it is perspective that is why this question was asked. It was a question after all not really an article. Congratulations on reading a ten line general question seeking another perspective and tearing it apart as if the writer was trying to get it published in Time magazine. Oh, how you have struggled. What’s next for you? Yahoo answers maybe? You could berate the simplicity of each one and leave so many gems of your personal philosophy. In closing I’m mmore into the fitness look toned and lean rather than going for the mass effect. Girls (from the top) 2, 4 and 7 were pretty good and lets face it they are getting up there in years and still tight. I can only hope when my gf reaches that age that she has as much dedication.

  • Brittany

Good for these women for having dedication to work out and do what they want. All the power to them, but….
I like my women to soft and squishy. I like a soft butt, soft, large boobs, and a overall soft feel. These women personally repulse me. I mean, if someone likes that, let them. I like my women cute and chubby.

    • S

Hear, hear! Soft and squishy, that’s my kind of woman (:

But yes, if these women like the way they look and enjoy body-building, then I applaud their efforts.

  • alexxdard

if i ever saw one of them walking down the street i wuold probably just look at them and think WTF.

    • ODB

..and risk getting your *** kicked in public
by a burly chick in high heels..priceless.

    • ODB

and risk getting your *ss k****d in public by a burly chick in high heels??…priceless..

  • Brooke

:/ Who cares about gender issues. To me they’re not good looking (and I’m putting that nicely._.) But if they’re happy who cares. Those who want to stay petite or healthy without the muscles stay that way, those who body build, have at it.

    • Charlotte

I actually didn’t. Vlad went and made the stupid comment about this having something to do with feminism (I…don’t think so), so I was merely responding to his bullshit.

I totally agree with your view. Sure, I don’t think they’re attractive, but I bet they don’t care what I think. I bet they care even less what Vlad thinks.

They wouldn’t be doing it if they didn’t want to look that way, and there are more reasons to want to look a certain way other than trying to attract a man. That’s all I wanted to get across.

  • http://wanderingpoetry.blogspot.com/ Moses

It would be a boring world if everything was the same. One kind of tree, one kind of flower.
I like the variety that life has to offer and this would be that every individual has many different aspects that another does not have.

  • Francis

I know how this sounds to most guys/girls out there but I must say I find them attractive. I know 4 sure that they don’t look this way fully dressed. Try picturing with their muscles relaxed (especially the muscles around D neck) and properly dressed say in something casual say like jogging suit and look them straight in the face. I dont know about anybody, but 2 me they look hot. And trust me I am not in any-way, any-day ***.

  • 7of9

Actually, a woman who exposes herself is not begging for your approval. Many males tend to misunderstand that simple fact. You are simply not in the position to give your vote as a judge, because no one was asking for your approval, and please tune your voice down low when judging random females in public. They did not offer themselves to you and your aesthetic values.
Some positions are ****, but some others are to highlight the respective area where the athlete spent a considerable amount of work.

Also, a very worked out female body is still female. If we were not supposed to grow greater muscle mass, we could not. Now I dislike the steroid effects (which show in the face as well, let alone health), the tanning and the stress that comes along with body building, on both males and females.
But that look is dominant in the scene so from an outsider perspective it of course looks weird.
If greater muscle masses intimidate you and you hate on people who look ugly in your opinion, it is your problem – and not theirs.

    • Charlotte

Yes! This. It’s not exactly that he’s not in a position to give his aesthetic judgment (that’s what we’re all here for)…it’s more that it’s offensive and revealing that he can only judge them in relation to his personal “can-I-put-a-****-in-this” scale.

It’s that he believes women would or should not make themselves look in anyway that would make them less sexually attractive to this-one-douchebag’s-particular-taste.

In addition, I’d say I don’t think over-muscle-y men are attractive, but you don’t see me (or any other woman) pouring over pictures on random websites, letting everyone know how friggin’ vomit-inducing I think their bulging veins are.

  • http://innovative-information-center.blogspot.com/ Johan

I dont know about anybody, but 2 me they look hot and some of these are looking like editing with there images

  • SG

    Love Lauren’s comment
its all about self love and self worth and they dont care what we think….

i dont think theyre attractive but who cares what i think besides beauty is subjective

  • adam

Scary….. girls don’t suppose to be like that

  • lolo

    disgusting!!!!!!!!!

  • Cosmic Cowboy

A few are attractive (the ones that look like women, that is). Most look like men in drag. What is point of being a female bodybuilder if you end up looking like a guy? Or, is that the point? I have to wonder what their voices sound like. It’s not an abundance of muscle that makes a woman strong.

  • crazysquid

Whether they care about what we think is absurd. These women? perform for the public opinion, and apparently are satisfied with the minority of people who truly believe that this is a sport. I do not find that male body building is a sport either.
These Body Builders handicap themselves by forming abnormally large mussels. They walk funny, some can not even wipe their bums properly due to the enormity of their triceps.
These women could not have gotten this way naturally. They had to have used steroids. This could possibly explain why the look so masculine. So to say the wimpy “They don’t care what we think” stance is ridiculous.
What the blazes do you think they are competing and posing for photo’s for?

Woooo! Don’t miss this!
